Child sponsorship allows donors to invest meaningfully into the lives of individual children. Sponsors help meet the expenses of the child’s education, besides contributing to their overall well-being. Children get regular access to nutritious food, regular medical check-ups, and even personality development classes. We are in constant touch with the child through our social work and organized monthly meetings. Children are sponsored through our in-house sponsorship program as well as through the supporters. We ensure that the entire amount is used to benefit the child. Sponsors are encouraged to visit and interact with their sponsored children. Sponsor visits and other forms of communication with the sponsor are eagerly looked forward to both by the sponsor and child!

Old age makes the financially weaker sections of society even more vulnerable than before. When they are no longer in a position to contribute to the family, the elderly are often neglected. Siloam Home for the Aged is an upcoming project that is being constructed at a quiet suburb near Pallikonda, Vellore. The home aims to provide a secure and healthy haven for the elderly from different walks of life. Complying with all the guidelines and recommendations of the Government, Siloam Home will offer residents hygienic and secure accommodation, nourishing food and above all immediate access to medical care. Medical facilities will be made available on campus and regular health check-ups will ensure pre-emptive treatment.
Monthly medical camps are held in various rural areas and slums, at the Leprosy rehabilitation project and the Community development project. The programs focus on the holistic rehabilitation of leprosy survivors and their families, many of whom have been isolated due to stigma. The end goal is to help them integrate into mainstream society. The residents of the hostel and old age home also receive medical care through routine health check-ups. Those with health issues receive timely care through the Siloam Health Centre. While the healthcare centre generally provides subsidized treatment, expenses are completely waived for those who cannot afford it.
On a monthly basis, vulnerable beneficiaries from various programs are provided with essentials. This is a supportive ministry that seeks to meet the basic needs of vulnerable families at a critical juncture. Many of them are seeking to build their own skills and support themselves through various livelihood projects. By meeting their most basic needs, we ensure that they are able to focus on the long-term goal of building skills and becoming competent in a profession, rather than working to fulfil their immediate needs.
The community development project at Bramanamangalam stemmed from the desire to help families that had been struck by the Corona 2020. With the generous contribution of donors, GCF was able to support more than 100 families by providing ration items and groceries. Planning to start daily creche looks after young kids while the parents earn their livelihood to shoe factories. Creche facilities are available for children under 5, ensuring that the women are able to work and at the same time support their families. A tailoring and handicraft unit equips young girls and women with the skills they need to contribute to their family income. In short, the adopted village has evolved into a model community. The women and their spouses are also counselled on how to deal with domestic problems, counselled on the importance of education and encouraged to send their children to school. Educating and empowering the less privileged through integrated methods and initiating and implementing progressive social change. We want to see an India where every child gets an education, every youth an opportunity to succeed, and every woman the right to equality.
